"Life is a great big canvas; throw all the paint on it you can." - Danny Kaye
A Note from Judith
Greetings!

As we come out of a more intense than usual winter the contrast of the new spring landscape feels particularly exciting! Growing up in LA with so few reminders of the changing seasons, I am coming to trust that what seems dead in nature has the potential to regain life. This life can take several forms from bud, to flower to fruit.

Watching this landscape unfold around me and my creative work is unfolding within me, it seemed an appropriate time to write to you about the unique self that we call The Creative. I present you with this self with a warning, as your time can become been filled with the creative process once it is untapped! The challenge becomes integrating the possibilities of our unleashed Creative with the selves that need to handle our day-to-day responsibilities.

An exciting thing about tapping into our creativity is that we never know what we will find. The really good news is that you don't need to be Picasso, Van Gogh or a Shakespeare; you just need to be your authentic Self. Open your mind and let your Creative come to life. Let your life be your canvas.

I wish for you the intimacy and self-awareness that comes with allowing your full expression to unfold.

Blessings,

Judith

Meet Your Creative Self
The Creative can be seen as our inner Artist. Through its flow of creativity this self brings it's unique imprint to anything we do. It inspires not only the way we dress but also the business card we choose to use or the color we paint our home.

The Creative expresses our particular personality. By dipping into the well of our creative juices we can bring to life images, thoughts, feelings and expressions that lay deep within us. Embracing our Creative can feel like having our own personal muse that inspires anything we do from pencil to paintbrush, computer to cooking.

The Creative is expressive to the full degree not only in generating ideas but also the ability to bring them to reality. This can include utilizing the artistic skill sets of another person to bring the creative idea to life. The process of focusing the creative lens allows this self to bring, make or find a canvas out of anything it chooses.

OVER-IDENTIFIED WITH THE CREATIVE:
If you are over-identified with your Creative you can get so lost in the creation process that you may struggle to accomplish or complete day-to-day tasks and/or long-term goals. This can result in a level of disorganization and disorientation in relation to basic life requirements.
THE DISOWNED/REPRESSED CREATIVE
When you have disowned or repressed your Creative you may struggle to get past the mundane practicality of day-to-day responsibilities. The values of the more logical, rational and practical parts of you can result in excuses ranging from not enough time to a question of your Creative's very existence.
THE INTEGRATED CREATIVE:
With an integrated Creative you are offered color in a potentially black and white world. You have the opportunity of bringing the unique lens of your own creativity to any and all aspects of your life.

POSSIBLE OPPOSITES OF THE CREATIVE:
The Critic, The Thinker, The Perfectionist, The Pusher

DEEPENING YOUR DIALOGUE WITH YOUR CREATIVE:
What is your relationship with your Creative?
Is this self primary or is it repressed or disowned in your life?
Why is this Self showing up in your present life?
What is this self trying communicate with you?
