A Note from Judith
Greetings!

As the month of July came to an end - I celebrated my 50th year on the planet. In honor of this significant portal, paving the way to my next decade, I gratefully took the time to honor and receive this birthday. In addition to receiving a blessing ceremony with friends here in Boulder, I treated myself to the gift of a glider plane ride.

Soaring over our beautiful mountains, I was filled with wonder and joy. As we were cut loose from the tow plane it was the closest I ever felt to being a bird. There really is something powerful, profound and wondrous about flying without an engine. By allowing my Receiver self to come out and play with me I indeed filled my reservoir more than I could have imagined.

I invite you in this last full month of summer to invite your Receiver self to come out and play. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the gifts that your Receiver has to offer. Just imagine the possibilities of what there is for you to receive!

Wishing you open and receptive possibilities over the rest of your summer!

Blessings,

Judith

Exploring your Receiver
The Receiver is often experienced as a softer or yin side of our nature. It carries the unique quality of openness to life's gifts that can fill our heart and soul. This self enriches us through its ability to fully absorb food, nourishment, love, attention, affection and connection in our daily life.

The Receiver has the capacity to value and honor the acknowledgements that come in the light of our wins and victories. This can give us a glimpse into our selves from the eyes of others. In a culture where productivity is so valued the Receiver offers us the ability to reap our own inner harvests.

The Receiver can be experienced on the spectrum from the relief of a deep breath to the relaxation of a one-week vacation. This self is expressed through the Heart Center. We have the ability to recharge and rejuvenate our physical/emotional battery through the power of this self.

IDENTIFYING A DOMINANT RECEIVER:
If you are over identified with your Receiver you can be perceived as being needy, demanding and taking from others. You can become self indulgent always wanting more and losing connection to the value of giving.
RECOGNIZING AN UNTAPPED RECEIVER:
When your Receiver has been untapped you can often become too focused on the pleasing, accommodating and the caretaking of others. Without the capacity to replenish your inner reservoir you can become exhausted physically and emotionally.
MAINTAINING BALANCE WITH THE RECEIVER:
To experience and maintain a healthy connection with this self you need to acknowledge where it falls for you on the spectrum between dominant and untapped. A balanced relationship with your Receiver supports the ability to accept acknowledgements and appreciations while maintaining a healthy attunement and generosity to the wants and needs of others.

POSSIBLE OPPOSITES OF THE RECEIVER TO EXPLORE:
Every dominant self has a corresponding opposite that holds possible clues to its current status. Potential opposites for this self can be seen in selves such as The Accommodator, The Gatekeeper, The Responsible

DIALOGING WITH YOUR ORDINARY:
- Where does your Receiver fall on the spectrum from dominant to untapped?
- What are the qualities that this self carries for you?
- What is your earliest memory of your Receiver?
- What does this self need or want by asking for your attention at this time?
- If your Receiver is dominant, who is the opposite self that needs expression?
