Connecting Presence
A Voice Dialogue Connection

"Every spirit builds itself a house, and beyond it's house a world and beyond its world a heaven. Know then that world exists for you. " - Ralph Waldo Emerson
A Note from Judith
Greetings!

With the month of May bringing us one step closer to summer I hope these beautiful days of the spring season find you well. This week I journey to California for my annual opportunity to assist in Level III Training at Thera. It is always a time to not only reconnect with Hal, Sidra and other Senior Trainers but to immerse myself in the field of Voice Dialogue. Staffing these trainings offers a wonderful intimacy with the profundity of the work and our incredibly rich community.

By the time I return home school bells will be ringing for the final time before schools across America let out for the summer. Do you remember that final day of school when you had the entire summer looming before you? Your spirit felt free and ready to move into those hazy lazy days of summer. With this "Free Spirit" in mind I invite you this month to take a look at this self and see how often you let it come out to play.

Perhaps your Free Spirit can take you to places you have not journeyed for many years passing.

Wishing you an enlightening journey with this expressive self.

Blessings,

Judith

Meet Your Free Spirit
The Free Spirit is the self that allows us to rise above life's circumstances. It can be propelled by the gentlest of breezes or even by life's gales with the possibilities of carrying us in new directions. This self carries with it a full range of expression from increased creativity to a deep sense of enjoyment in all that it pursues.

The Free Spirit is known to resist conforming to the wants and needs of those around it. Inspired by a life that is unburdened by the expectations of others it moves to the beat of its own drum. This is the self that insures in us a sense of freedom by perpetuating it's own unique individuality.

The Free Spirit relies on the capacity of spontaneity to carry it through each day. Taking life lightly this self soars above the day-to-day routine. The anxiety free path this self inspires allows it to respond to each moment anew.

OVER-IDENTIFIED WITH THE FREE SPIRIT:
If you are over identified with your Free Spirit you can lose your sense of practical reality and what needs to get done to keep your day-to-day world in motion. The burning need to constantly rise above the expectations of others can cause missed opportunities in life, work and relationships.
THE DISOWNED/REPRESSED FREE SPIRIT
When you have disowned or repressed your Free Spirit you can begin to lose the capacity to rise above the practical realities of daily life. Over time even the basic requirements of life, work and relationship can become like quick sand making even the smallest tasks overwhelming.
THE INTEGRATED FREE SPIRIT:
With an integrated Free Spirit you can experience spontaneity as a wonderful lubricant from the wear and tear of day-to-day life. This self bring a unique balance that enables us to see and smell the roses while we are on our way to work.

POSSIBLE OPPOSITES OF THE FREE SPIRIT:
The Pusher, The Thinker, The Responsible
DEEPENING YOUR DIALOGUE WITH YOUR FREE SPIRIT:
- What is your relationship with your Free Spirit?
- Is this a primary self or is this self repressed or disowned in your life?
- Why is this Self showing up at this time?
- What is this self trying to communicate with you?
